The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in power within the city.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the main group to begin their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his obligations and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect finding out which characters will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
